It includes some classroom presentation, but most of the time is spent in the shoot house doing force-on-target and force-on-force drills and exercises. We will discuss deliberate and dynamic clearing methods theoretically, but we will focus on a specific, hybrid method for practical application.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>COURSE TOPICS<\/h2>\n<div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Psychological and physiological considerations for close-quarters battle (CQB)<\/li>\n<li>Individual movement and weapon manipulation in and around structures<\/li>\n<li>Room clearing theory and principles<\/li>\n<li>Tools, techniques, and tactics for CQB<\/li>\n<li>Deliberate, dynamic, and hybrid clearing methods<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>PREREQUISITES<\/h2>\n<div>\n<div>This course is open to US military, law enforcement, and select security professionals who have documented intermediate to advanced level pistol training. <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS<\/h2>\n<div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Duty pistol (tritium sights and weapon light recommended)<\/li>\n<li>NLTA conversion kit for pistol (converted Glock pistols are available for use)<\/li>\n<li>PPE (eye protection; hat or helmet; groin protection)<\/li>\n<li>Notepad &amp; pen<\/li>\n<li>Approximately 200 rounds of NLTA ammunition (UTM ammo is available for purchase in our ProShop)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>OPEN ENROLLMENT<\/h2>\n<div>\n<div>We typically offer open enrollment NV Operator courses 2 to 3 times per year at our facility in Brunswick, GA.
