1-2 MAN ROOM CLEARING

$650 PER PERSON | 2 DAYS
  • This course covers the fundamentals of ‘room clearing’ from a theoretical and a practical standpoint. It includes some classroom presentation, but most of the time is spent in the shoot house doing force-on-target and force-on-force drills and exercises. We will discuss deliberate and dynamic clearing methods theoretically, but we will focus on a specific, hybrid method for practical application.

    • Psychological and physiological considerations for close-quarters battle (CQB)
    • Individual movement and weapon manipulation in and around structures
    • Room clearing theory and principles
    • Tools, techniques, and tactics for CQB
    • Deliberate, dynamic, and hybrid clearing methods

PREREQUISITES

  • This course is open to US military, law enforcement, and select security professionals who have documented intermediate to advanced level pistol training.

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS

    • Duty pistol (tritium sights and weapon light recommended)
    • NLTA conversion kit for pistol (converted Glock pistols are available for use)
    • PPE (eye protection; hat or helmet; groin protection)
    • Notepad & pen
    • Approximately 200 rounds of NLTA ammunition (UTM ammo is available for purchase in our ProShop)

  • We typically offer open enrollment NV Operator courses 2 to 3 times per year at our facility in Brunswick, GA. You can register on our open enrollment schedule.
